After capturing the Rugby Championship for the first time since 2019, the Springboks will be full of confidence heading into their annual end-of-year tour to the northern hemisphere. The Bokke will be eager to ensure that they don’t blight their excellent 2024, having only lost 2 matches and won 7 matches.
This won’t be an easy task, however, as they will face 3 difficult opponents on a tour that has often proved tricky for even the most successful Springbok teams. Take a look at our review of the Springboks 2024 end-of-year tour:

Fixtures
10 November
Scotland v South Africa, Murrayfield (18:10)
Referee: Christophe Ridley
Preview:
First up, the Springboks take on Scotland at Murrayfield. The Scots have emerged as a real threat in the last few years and could prove to be tough opposition for the Bokke. However, the Springboks will start as clear favourites as they have a dominant record against Scotland, having won 22 matches and only lost 5, while the Scots were beaten 18-3 in their last clash in Pool B of the 2023 World Cup.
The Scots will hope to neutralise the vaunted Springbok forward pack, which will allow it to implement a creative running game that could surprise the South Africans. Conversely, the Boks will be aiming to get on top up front, especially in the scrums, which will allows the team to imprint heir style of play
16 November, England v South Africa, Twickenham (19:40)
Referee: Andrew Brace
England is a team on the rise, having beaten Ireland in the 6 Nations, while they ran the All Blacks close in their 2-0 series loss in New Zealand in July. England will be out for revenge after the Springboks pulled a Houdini act in the 2023 Rugby World Cup Semifinal and won 16-15 despite trailing for most of the match.
This match will probably prove to be the hardest test for the Bokke, and it will be once again be determined by England’s’ ability to match the Springbok forwards and put them under pressure. Springboks will identify this match as its biggest challenge and will be determined to maintain its recent good record at Twickenham, having won 6 of its last 9 test matches at this ground.
23 November, Wales v Springboks, Millenium Stadium (19:40)
Referee: Karl Dickson
Wales have backslid in recent years since they enjoyed a golden period where the team beat the Springboks 4times in a row and made the 2019 Rugby World Cup semifinal, where they lost 19-16 to the Boks. Wales rugby is in a period of transition, with many new players having recently been introduced and several players having recently retired. Wales will be hoping that the Springboks underestimate their fixture with the Dragons, and this will be Wales’s best chance of springing a surprise on the 4-time world champions.
