Brazil
Preview
As one of football’s giants, with a pedigree of having won 5 World Cups, Brazil enters the tournament as one of the favourites. Known for its attacking flair, technical brilliance, and ability to produce world-class talent, Brazil remains one of the most feared sides in international football. With a squad filled with skilful forwards such as Vinicius and Raphinha, creative midfielders such as Bruno Guimarães and stalwart goalkeeper Alisson Becker, Brazil will look to dominate possession and overwhelm opponents.
Prediction
Brazil are strong favourites to top Group C and should progress comfortably to the knockout stages.
Morocco
Preview
Morocco continues to build on its historic 2022 World Cup run, where it became the first African nation to reach the semifinals. The team is built on defensive solidity, tactical discipline, and explosive counterattacks. With key players such as captain and right-back Achraf Hakimi, attacking midfielder/forward Brahim Díaz and striker Ayoub El Kaabi competing in top European leagues, Morocco combines experience with confidence and belief.
Prediction
Morocco is a strong contender to qualify and could push Brazil for the top spot if it maintains its recent form.
Haiti
Preview
In its first World Cup since 1974, Haiti enters the tournament as one of the underdogs. While it lacks extensive World Cup experience, the team has shown growth in recent years and is expected to bring passion, pace, and attacking intent. The team will look to make an impact on the global stage through top players such as all-time top scorer Duckens Nazon, forward Frantzdy Pierrot, and captain/goalkeeper Johny Placide.
Preview
Haiti’s energy and unpredictability could make it a tricky opponent. While the team may find it challenging against stronger opposition, it could still play a role in shaping the group standings.
Scotland
Preview
Scotland returns to the World Cup for the first time since 1998 with a well-organised and determined squad. Known for its physicality, structure, and disciplined approach, they are capable of competing with stronger teams. With a mix of experienced players and emerging talent such as Andy Robertson, John McGinn, Scott McTominay, and Kieran Tierney, Scotland will be confident of qualifying for the next stage.
Prediction
Scotland is capable of competing for a knockout spot and could edge into the top two through consistent performances.
Looking Ahead
Group C presents a compelling mix of footballing styles, with Brazil’s flair, Morocco’s discipline, Scotland’s structure, and Haiti’s unpredictability all coming into play. While Brazil is the clear favourite, the battle for the second qualification spot could be fiercely contested. With plenty at stake and contrasting approaches on display, every match in this group could prove decisive.
